Alcohol rules
Regulator: Nunavut Liquor Licensing Board (we confirm the current licensing authority before launching sessions here).
Each province and territory has its own rules for alcohol advertising. We follow the CRTC code everywhere and confirm local rules with the regulator before promoting sessions here.
Nunavut communities are prohibited, restricted or unrestricted for alcohol. The Government of Nunavut has listed Arviat, Coral Harbour, Gjoa Haven, Kugaaruk, Pangnirtung and Sanikiluaq as prohibited. Brew Fitness sessions in Nunavut are planned as alcohol-free community workouts unless local rules clearly allow otherwise, and we confirm current rules before scheduling. Government source
Some First Nations and Inuit communities across Canada have their own alcohol bylaws. Sessions on or near those lands follow local rules, and are alcohol-free where alcohol is restricted. General information, not legal advice.
