Training in British Columbia

Coastal cities train through mild, rainy winters; the Interior gets real snow and hot, dry summers.

Winter

Rain-or-shine run clubs on the coast; snowshoe and ski outings in the Interior.

Summer

Early-evening sessions to beat the Interior heat; paddleboard and hiking groups.

Alcohol rules

Regulator: Liquor and Cannabis Regulation Branch (LCRB)

In British Columbia the CRTC code applies to all alcohol advertising, including print and digital, not only broadcast.

Some First Nations and Inuit communities across Canada have their own alcohol bylaws. Sessions on or near those lands follow local rules, and are alcohol-free where alcohol is restricted. General information, not legal advice.
